Mike and Marj married and settled on a quarter just outside High Prairie in 1946, building a charming little wood house in 1957. The homestead house and acreage was bought by their grandson Tanner and his wife Christie in 2013.

Tanner and Christie lived in the little house until recently, embarking on a refresh and reno with the help of Christie’s dad, and team members from the greenhouse Ilona, Aislinn, and Gillian.
